In 2010, I joined Hope Mission's Development department with the goal to drive change. I assembled a small in-house team of creatives and we overhauled the website, digital assets, and print materials, and built an engaged audience on social media. Our efforts caught the attention of DDB Edmonton, who helped redesign Hope Mission's logo, typeface, and brand colours. My remark in a discovery meeting, "we want to own the word hope in Edmonton," inspired the creation of the bold logo, which has been a powerful asset for them ever since.
